About Us

The Citizens Policy Forum of CT is a 501(c)(3) organization founded by Harry Arora, an advocate for good governance and robust public policy. Dedicated to improving public engagement and citizen participation, Harry has consistently worked to bring meaningful dialogue to the forefront of Connecticut’s policy landscape.

Harry served two terms in the Connecticut General Assembly, representing the 151st District. During his tenure, he was the Ranking Member of the Labor Committee and a member of both the Energy and Technology Committee and the Human Services Committee. In 2022, he was the Republican candidate for State Treasurer.

Before entering public office, Harry spent 20 years as an investment manager with a focus on commodities, during which he founded and ran his own investment business in Greenwich. He holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School.
